Products offers several control options
for your gas log set. Hargrove valve systems are designed
to interchange with Hargrove burner systems - most of the valve options
shown below
can be used on any Hargrove gas log set, and all can be ordered in
natural gas or liquid propane configurations. Your
Hargrove dealer can help you determine which valve arrangement is the
best choice for your home.
Hargrove valves and switching systems offer safety, reliability and the
convenience of a standing pilot, which eliminates the need to re-light
the unit with each use. Hargrove valves and switching systems are
optimized to work best with your Hargrove gas log burner. Most
Hargrove valve systems are mounted near the front of the fireplace,
making them even more reliable and easy to light. Insist on Hargrove
valves and switching systems. |
| The Safety Pilot Control
system is a manually operated valve with a standing pilot, which automatically
shuts off gas flow to the set should the pilot go out, protecting your home and family. |

The Latch-Tap
Remote safety pilot system is similar in appearance to the Safety Pilot
Control (shown here with heat shield removed), but adds an on/off remote
control unit to this low profile, high-temperature valve. |

Remote safety pilot system (shown with heat shield removed) adds
variable flame height remote control capability to the Safety Pilot
Control, for the ultimate in convenience and adjustability,
allowing you to vary the flame height of your Hargrove
gas log set at the touch of a button, while maintaining the same low
profile and high-temperature rating of the Safety Pilot Control. |

The Millivolt valve
safety pilot system is designed for maximum switching flexibility,
and can be used with a standard wall switch, our decorative pinecone
and bark chip switches, or the on/off remote control system. Millivolt
valves are available in two flow capacities, standard (shown at right),
for use with log sets up to 36", and high capacity, for use with
log sets larger than 36". Both millivolt valves may also
be mounted outside of the fireplace, giving you a completely hidden
control
system. |

| The Electronic
Ignition safety pilot system functions similarly to the millivolt
valve safety pilot, but does not use a standing pilot. A battery
operated control unit first lights the intermittent pilot, then switches
on the main burner. Like the millivolt valve, the Electronic
Ignition system may also be mounted outside of the fireplace,
giving
you a completely hidden
control system,
and can be used with a standard wall switch, our decorative pinecone
and bark chip switches, or the on/off remote control system.
